Throughout the year, Kaloob provided direct support to
families facing economic hardship. Thisassistance focused on meeting basic daily needs andoffering relief during times of crisis.Key activities included:-
Distribution of food packs and basic necessities. During Christmas season and New Year, Kaloob distributed 200 packs food for the poor people in Matang Tubig and the homelesspeople who are living in the trains station or in the streets.
-Emergency financial assistance for families in distress
– Support for elderly individuals and persons living alone
– Collaboration with Lay Religious Alliance, we visited and share 30 packs food to the prisoners
Estimated beneficiaries: 266 families
Health-related assistance remained a priority, especially for individuals unable to afford medical care. Kaloob extended help through:
-Support for medical consultations and treatments. The month of November, Kalood gave free the medicine for the people in Matang Tubig
-Aid for individuals with chronic or serious illnesses. Kaloob assist finance to 2 Cancer people
Estimated beneficiaries: 16 individuals
Believing that education is a vital means to break the cycle of poverty, Kaloob supported students from low-income families by providing:
– Partial assistance for tuition and school-related fees
Estimated beneficiaries: 25 students
The Cow Project is a livelihood initiative of Kaloob designed to support poor families by providing them with a sustainable source of income. Through the provision of a cow, beneficiary families are empowered to improve their
nutrition. In the present time, Kaloob gave:
-16 cows to 16 families in Dumaguete
– 5 cows to 5 families in Digos City
Estimated beneficiaries: 21 families
The Monthly Feeding Program, starting in November 2025, provides 120 packed lunches to poor communities in different areas of Manila.
Through this initiative, Kaloob responds to the immediate nutritional needs of vulnerable individuals and families, especially the homeless, elderly
During December of 2025, Kaloob organized a Gala Charity Night that includes food preparation, games, and entertainment. Funds will be raised through the sale ofbuffet tickets and game tickets.
This Gala will be organized during the Christmas season, with approximately 100 participants. Purpose:
-To make the Augustinian Assumptionist (AA) mission better known in the Philippines
– To raise funds for Kaloob
– To provide an opportunity for collaboration among different commissions, the Lay Alliance, and various religious communities.
Target: – To organize the Gala Charity Night twice a year
Kaloob manages its resources with a strong commitment to transparency and accountability. Sources of Funds:
– Donations from individuals and benefactors
– Fundraising initiatives, including support from the Procurator of the Province
– Friends of the Augustinians of the Assumption (AA) in Europe, the USA,
and Vietnam
– Local benefactors
– Vietnamese Catholic groups in the USA Use of Funds:
– Direct charitable assistance
– Emergency relief operations
– Minimal administrative and operational expenses A detailed financial statement will be presented by the Kaloob Treasurer.
The year also presented several challenges, including increasing needs and limited resources. These experiences highlighted:
• The growing demand for sustained charitable efforts
• The importance of careful discernment and prioritization
• The need to balance immediate assistance with long-term solutions
